Emotional scenes.
While the authorities are still in pursuit of Najim Laachraoui and brothers Khalid and Brahim El Brakaoui following the bombing attacks in Brussels, people all over the world have offered their support and solidarity with Belgium and its people.
Without even saying a word, these artistic tributes were an extremely powerful tribute while closer to home, Irish people have offered their support by using the #OpenHouse hashtag in an effort to provide shelter and aid to those that need it most in the aftermath of the atrocities.
Today was a day of mourning for the Belgian people a minute’s silence was held around the country to commemorate those 34 people that were killed along with the remaining 198 people that are injured.
