We don’t know what it is about Mr Bean’s vacant expression, battered teddy bear and old school attire that is so damn amusing but you can’t deny the show is a classic that has been generating laughter from the masses for a quarter of a century.
Some 25 years ago the character first graced our screens and found a place in our hearts that we just can’t deny exists. The veteran comedian arrived outside Buckingham Palace on top of his famous 1976 British Leyland Mini 1000, recreating the memorable scene where Mr Bean packs his vehicle so full of shopping he needs to drive from the bonnet, sitting in a chair.
The ca had a #Mrbean25 on the side of it and of course teddy was at hand as where the crowds who thoroughly enjoyed the occasion.
