VIDEO: Paddy Jackson speaks after being found not guilty of rape at the Belfast Crown Court

Paddy Jackson addressed the media outside the Belfast Crown Court.

Jackson (26), from Oakleigh Park, was found not guilty of the rape and sexual assault of a 19-year-old student in June 2016.

Jackson, addressing the media on the steps of the court immediately after the verdict was handed down, said:

"I'd just like to thank the judge and the jury for giving me a fair trial. My parents for being here everyday as well as my brother and sisters. I'd like to thank my barrister Brendan Kelly and Stephen Keogh. My solicitors Joe McVeigh and Kevin Winters of KRW Law.

"Out of respect for my employers I have nothing further to comment. That's it."
