Matthew 5:39 says…
“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.”
Well, Pope Francis didn’t quite do that when a supporter got on his nerves yesterday.
The Bishop of Rome is visiting Mexico at the moment, and as Irish people, we can relate to how excited they must be to meet the Pope.
Nevertheless, this excitement hasn’t been well-received by Pope Francis, who chastised whoever almost knocked him over in no uncertain terms.
