The phrase has been used in association with many Irish politicians in the past but the Fianna Fáil TD decided to give it a whole new literal meaning in Leinster House today.
Obviously not long back from lunch, the Laois/Offaly TD clearly had something between his teeth and thought to use a bit of paper from the document he was holding to try and get it out; little did he know that his attempts at amateur dentistry would end up being broadcast on live television during Leader’s Questions.
