Video: Student Union in English University make arguably the worst music video in the history of the Internet

Think we’re over-exaggerating? Take one look at this and dare to disagree.

We’re sure Loughborough University is a lovely place to go to – in fact, it’s renowned for the quality of its athletic facilities – but a recent video put together by the students union at the college is enough to dissuade pretty much anyone from going there in the first place. In an effort to sum up what the student union is all about and the things you can do at the college, members of the student union executive put together a music video to the tune of Naughty Boy’s La La La that is so awful it needs to be seen to be believed and has been widely panned since going viral in recent days. If the singing, the dance moves and god awful repetitive chorus weren’t bad enough, some of the lyrics take the biscuit and most of them don’t even rhyme. ‘Come to our welfare events/try alternative freshers/or black history month’ Whaaaa? According to the Metro, Student Union president Josh Hurrell defended the video on Facebook (we can’t seem to find the message) on the basis that it was a joke but having sat through it quite a number of times at this stage – for our troubles – there doesn’t seem to be any deliberate p*ss taking going on here. Guess potential college-goers will be banging down the doors trying to get into Loughborough next year after watching this then… NAHT.
