Being asked to be the best man for someone’s wedding is a massive honour for a guy, you are the chosen one and you feel like an absolute hero until you realise you have to give a speech in front of hundreds of people. *Sweat appears on JOE’s brow*
There’s two way to approach the speech situation. You can google “best man speech” and copy some of the hilarious jokes from there or else you can go off the cuff and pray for the best.
Anyone with any sense will prepare a few words and write them down on a piece of paper and then the only thing that could go wrong is forgetting your notes, which is exactly what happened Antrim man Ronan O’Dornan over the weekend.
Ronan was best man for his brother Connor, who was marrying the lovely Helena on Saturday. When the speeches came around, Ronan realised he’d forgotten his notes. Out of panic, Ronan and one of the other groomsmen, Damien, left to reception to find the notes and what happened next was simply awesome…
Ronan and his cousin work for a production company called Speedmotion Films and they put the video together for Connor and Helena’s big day, it’s absolutely brilliant. Fair play lads.
