A strong garda presence.
Up to 30 gardaí with batons are blocking off Cathedral Street in Dublin city centre at Anti-Islamisation group PEGIDA’s rally this afternoon.
A counter protest made up of approximately 300 people also took place on O’Connell Street and it’s believed that both groups came into contact before the gardaí stepped in and separated them.
