Great video, and a great choice of music too.
Hats off to the skills of Michelle Mullen, who put together this video showing just what havoc the recent storm has wreaked on one of the first bits of land it hit, the Aran Islands.
As you will see, the coast road here is completely gone in some places, and the bits of tarmac that survive are strewn with rocks.
As you will also see, they haven’t lost their sense of humour though, with ACDC’s Highway to Hell chosen as the music to accompany the damage. Well played.
The video also shows just what a beautiful place the Aran Islands are, so we hope they get the road fixed as soon as possible.
