Pro-Life farmer John O'Donnell made one particularly ludicrous claim on Tonight with Vincent Browne.

Speaking during a debate on a possible abortion referendum to take place next year, O'Donnell took the microphone and informed the crowd how - in the case of a woman who becomes pregnant through rape - it's a well known fact that "giving birth reduces the trauma of the rape." Browne, showing rare restraint, did not engage with O'Donnell any further and quickly moved on.
