What an idiot.
Barely a day goes by that you don’t see incredibly stupid and dangerous manoeuvres carried out on Irish roads but a truck driver in Dublin took the biscuit earlier today.
Caught on camera at the Merrion Gates level crossing in Dublin 4, the driver in question can be seen clearly ignoring signals to stop and then proceeds to drive through the crossing, causing massive damage to the gates in the process.

Irish Rail highlighted this particularly idiotic piece of driving earlier today, have notified the Gardai to start the prosecution process and have informed passengers that although full services have been resumed, there will be delays of up to 15 minutes.
They also ridiculed the driver with probably the best use of a hashtag we’ve seen all year.
