A surefire way to make people look stupid is to get them to pose for a photo and then video tape them instead
JOE was never too in to the whole black tie ball thing, it always seemed like some mad scheme to get us to pay a load of money for a ticket and then charge us for booze once we’re inside.
As it transpires, JOE was right to be suspicious not only because of all the stuff that we’ve already said but also because inside there lurk those who are trying to make a fool of you, and then share your embarrassing moments to YouTube, Instagram, Vine, Facebook and all your social networks, including the ones you don’t use anymore. Especially Bebo.
That’s just what happened at the C&E UCD Comm Ball recently, hosted by the C&E LawBusinessMedSoc. Or MedCommSoc. Or SocCommLawSocBus.com/lawmed. We’re not sure. Whatever its called anyway, the nefarious duo of Conor Boyle and Ross McCarrick were in there, getting people to pose for a photo but actually taking a video. Thus the hilarity ensues, as people make stupid faces, and then stand there for a long period of time in the same position, all while dressed very fancily. Unlucky lads.
