Here we see the Irish Defence Forces Black Knights parachute display team, *deep breath*, skydiving into Rathmines from over 1500 meters in the air – that’s over 5000 feet in old money.
Unfortunately, there are no spectacular flips or mid-air MMA fights, but it does give us an incredible bird’s-eye view of the city centre.

According to the Defence Forces, the lads were dispatched over Dublin City Centre from an Air Corps AW139 twin engine helicopter, last August.
This particular piece of footage captures the rapid descent of Captain Ruairí McDermott and Corporal Colin Curran of the Black Knights display team into Cathal Brugha Barracks, Rathmines.
