Zimbabwe’s fourth annual Mr. Ugly pageant was held yesterday, and the crown went to unemployed man Mison Sere.
The event, which is held in the Zimbabwean capital of Harare, was soured by accusations that the winner was not ugly enough, simply toothless.
Runner-up (and last year’s Mr. Ugly) William Masvinu angrily explained that “missing front teeth does not make you ugly. You need natural ugliness from birth. I did not lose, and I am still number one.”
