The edges of the Cliffs of Moher are now more dangerous than ever

Carl Kinsella

When it comes to naturally beauty, you just can’t beat the Cliffs of Moher.

However, visitors to the County Clare landmark are being warned only to use the official path, and to stay well away from the cliff’s edge.

According to the Cliffs of Moher Twitter page, recent landslides have rendered the cliff edge unstable and anyone who goes deviates from the prescribed path could endanger themselves by doing so.

The cliffs stand over 200 meters above the sea at their highest point, and while the view from the edge might be beautiful, it’s certainly not worth risking your life over.

The Twitter account for the cliffs has also asked people to spread the message so that as many visitors as possible know not to approach the edge.
