They're a passionate crowd out West it must be said...

It's been a great day for the West of Ireland, the first Aer Lingus flight from Boston to Knock landed this morning to much fanfare, and now they've been chosen as European Capital of Culture 2020. All in all, the West is well and truly awake... While there was understandably a lot of disappointed people in the city of Limerick following the announcement, there's no denying Galway their outstanding result. Just have a look at this video captured by An Pucan bar in Galway as the results of the competition were read out... "We did it!
