She was removed on Thursday after camping overnight outside Leinster House.
Vera Twomey had been holding a sit-down protest at the gates of the Dáil to get a meeting with Minister for Health, Simon Harris.
Ms Twomey and three of her colleagues camped outside Leinster House last night and today in order to ensure her seven-year-old daughter Ava is given access to cannabidiol (CBD) oil, a type of medicinal cannabis.
However, on Thursday evening she, and of her three colleagues, were removed by Gardaí from their place at the gates of Leinster House.

Ms Twomey believes that access to CBD oil will prevent her daughter from having seizures as a result living with a rare form of Dravet’s Syndrome.
She started the protest in an effort to have a meeting with Simon Harris.
