A firenado is exactly what it sounds like.
Video footage filmed by the Leicestershire Fire and Rescue service captured the incredible phenomenon as firefighters battled a plastic pallet fire at the Ravensbourn plastics factory in Woodville in Derbyshire.
According to the Leicestershire Fire and Rescue service’s post on Facebook, the strange sight was created by fire cool air entering the top of the hot air causing a swirl, similar to how a tornado is formed.
All of that sounds like a pretty reasonable explanation, but once you see the video, a much more straightforward explanation is that we have somehow accidentally opened a gate into Hell and Lucifer himself is about to emerge and wreak havoc. So, let’s hope it’s not that, anyway.

The fire has caused considerable damage to the factory, but no injuries have been reported from the scene.
