… but a new Miss Universe was crowned in the Philippines last night.
24-year-old Iris Mittenaere from France beat beauties from Colombia and Haiti in the final three to claim the 2016 title.

Iris, a dental surgery from Lille, says as Miss Universe, she will be campaigning for dental and oral care around the world. Fair play.
The French model is already quite popular and she has a massive social media following with over 400,000 people on her Instagram.
