He’s going nowhere… for now.
He has been on the receiving end of intense criticism and huge pressure to resign as leader of the Labour party since the Brexit vote, but Jeremy Corbyn has published this video on his Twitter account which intimates that he is going nowhere.
Despite several Labour politicians resigning in the aftermath of the UK’s decision to exit the EU, Corbyn has reiterated his determination to remain as the head of the Labour party.
The 67-year-old has taken to Twitter to reassure Labour members that the future of the party is bright, citing the 60,000 new members that Labour have attracted over the last week alone.
While many will stand firmly behind the leader, a lot of people, both in and out of the party, will react strongly to this clip.
Take a look.
After the events of the past week, I wanted to talk directly to Labour Party members.https://t.co/mmLLLCIsL5
