The weather is amazing now, but how is it looking for the next few days?

When it comes to sunshine in Ireland, the motto has always got to be “enjoy it while it lasts.”

Everybody’s loving it today, filling up their Instagram with fun outdoor activities and slowly getting sunburnt enough to keep the aloe vera industry in business for the next 365 days, but how much longer are we going to get with this batch of sunshine?

According to Met Éireann, the rain could be back as soon as tomorrow morning, but it’s not all bad news. While the northwest will have temperatures of 8 or 9 degrees Celsius, the sunny southeast will live up to its name and have temperatures of 15 or 16 degrees again.

As for the rest of the week, the main story seems to be “mainly dry with sunny spells,” which is music to our ears really.

For now, Met Éireann predicts that things will stay dry, sunny and breezy until next weekend. Let’s hope they’re right.
