There’s a storm coming..
Ireland could be facing stormy conditions in the next few days as long-range weather maps show strong wind and heavy rain heading our way.
A low pressure system can be seen arriving over us from the south west coast early next week. It’s due to bring with it wet and windy conditions.
Weather expert, Alan O’Reilly noted that while there is uncertainty this far out and that changes could be seen before we reach next week, some forecasts show Tuesday as the potential day of arrival.
He took to Twitter and wrote: “Latest run once again develops that low system Tuesday and brings it right over Ireland with awful wind and rain.
“GFS model shows nothing though. Is the recently upgraded ECMWF model onto something or is it a very poor start to the upgraded model? We shall see!”
