We’ve all felt a bit of air rage in our time, but this is a bit extreme

She must have been watching The Bourne Identity

A passenger on a US flight was removed for stabbing a fellow flyer with a pen for snoring.

The Southwest Airlines flight from Chicago Midway airport to Manchester, New Hampshire, had to be stopped when Lenny Madarski screamed out in pain that he had been attacked by the woman sitting next to him. For snoring.

She’d clearly been watching Matt Damon in THAT pen scene from The Bourne Identity.

“Imagine being asleep and then being stung by bees, and then waking up and going ‘owww,’” Madarski said.

“She was smirking…and all I wanted to do was not be sitting next to her.”

Despite the emergency services being called and a hell of a to-do over the whole thing, the woman was not charged, merely moved on to another flight like a bold child that has to be separared from a sibling.

“An old woman just stabbed Lenny (who was sleeping) in the arm with a pen ’cause his arm touched her on the plane,” Lenny’s friend Michael Sutton wrote on Twitter.

“People don’t get kicked off planes or asked if charges should be filed for poking with a pen…the only reason charges were not pressed is because Lenny is a nice guy, not because the situation wasn’t serious.”
