If you’ve recently been to Australia and had a sexual encounter, be very afraid.
Defective condoms sold as part of a Groupon scheme in Australia have had to be recalled after they were found to be defective.
The website for the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission posted on their website that the products, “may be counterfeit… with defects such as holes in the latex.”
They were sold between March 12th and April 10th.
The site says: “The condoms may not prevent pregnancy or protect users against sexually transmitted diseases.”
There’s a line about chocolate teapots that come to mind.
