An online player in Wicklow scooped €98,793 in Wednesday night’s Lotto draw after matching five numbers and the bonus ball.
The player agonisingly fell one number short of winning the entire jackpot worth €3,691,592.
The Lotto numbers drawn were 22, 23, 27, 30, 42, 46 and the bonus number was 43.
The National Lottery is urging players to check their accounts and email to see if they’re the winner of the prize.
“We are asking all our online players in Wicklow to check their email inboxes or National Lottery accounts to see if they are this lucky prize winner,” a National Lottery spokesperson said.
“An automatic notification and email communication will have gone to them with this brilliant news.
“If you are the winner of this €98,793 prize please do contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and we will make arrangements for you to collect your prize.”
