The winning €9.7 million Lotto ticket was bought in Killarney

It is the second huge win from the same Killarney shop in the space of a week.

The National Lottery has confirmed that a winning ticket worth €9.7 million from Saturday’s night Lotto draw was sold in Daly’s Supervalu store in Killarney in Kerry.

The search for the holder of the precious ticket continues after Saturday night’s massive win, as the winner is yet to come forward.

Given the current Covid-19 restrictions, it is expected that the winner is local to the area.

The numbers drawn were 4, 9, 15, 27, 29, 34 and the bonus number was 17.

What adds to the story is that just one week before this massive win, a ticket sold in the very same shop won €500,000 on 14 April.
