Tragic news.
A woman in her 20s has died after a tragic accident occurred when she was playing a club camogie match in Galway on Easter Monday (18 April).
She was rushed to University Hospital Galway after the accident occurred in Ardrahan but sadly passed away from her injuries on Tuesday.
The woman, who played for Athenry, represented Galway Camogie at junior level.
Galway Camogie have cancelled all adult and juvenile games this week as a mark of respect.
