A man is being treated in hospital for “apparent stab wounds”.
A woman has been arrested following the alleged assault of a man in a Dublin apartment on Tuesday (13 September).
Shortly before 5am, Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to reports of an incident on Leeson Street Lower in Dublin 2.
On arrival, a man in his late 20s was discovered outside an apartment complex with “apparent stab wounds”, a Garda spokesperson told JOE.
The man was treated at the scene and then taken by ambulance to St James’s Hospital. His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
A woman in her 20s has since been arrested and is currently detained for questioning at Pearse Street Garda Station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
The Garda spokesperson said investigations into the alleged assault are ongoing.
