A man was arrested at the scene and is in Garda custody.
A woman has died following a fatal assault at a house in Dublin.
Gardaí are currently at the scene of the fatal assault in Willow Wood in Blanchardstown.
It’s understood the woman received fatal injuries in the assault at her home and her body remains at the scene.
A man has been arrested at the scene and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Blanchardstown Garda Station.
