Woman airlifted to hospital following fall from Howth cliff walk

The incident occurred shortly after midday on Friday.

A woman has been airlifted to hospital after falling from a cliff in Howth on Friday.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene at approximately 12.20pm after a woman, whose age is unknown, sustained injuries following an apparent fall on the popular walkway in north Dublin.

The woman, believed to be a tourist, has been airlifted to Beaumont Hospital.

The extent of her injuries are currently unknown and investigations are ongoing.
