Woman killed following collision involving a lorry, a car and a pedestrian in Dublin

Very sad news.

A woman has been killed following a fatal road traffic collision involving a lorry, a car and a pedestrian in Dublin.

The collision occurred at approximately 1pm on Saturday (29 August) on the Phibsborough Road.

The female pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The occupants of both the lorry and the car were uninjured in the collision.

The road has been closed and forensic collision investigators are at the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. Gardaí are also appealing for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area at the time to make this footage available to Gardaí.
