Very sad news.
A man in his 50s has died following a workplace accident in Cork on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 8.30am at a timber yard in Enniskeane, near Bandon.
It is understood the man was fatally injured following a collision with a loadall.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene on Tuesday morning.
The body of the man remains at the scene and the Health and Safety Authority have been notified.
