Just a reminder folks, you’re not supposed to drink on beaches, so unless you want your alcohol to feature in the Gardaí’s next Twitter update, make sure to drink it somewhere else…

A boatload of alcohol was seized on Portmarnock beach yesterday and the Gardaí were only too happy to show off their findings on Twitter today. While the Gardaí in the picture above seem fairly happy with their findings, we can only assume there were more than a few sour pusses on the faces of those whose alcohol was taken off them. So just remember, if you’re heading to the beach, leave your cans, naggins and bottles at home and go grab yourself a Loop The Loop instead.
