Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
Gardaí attended the scene of a serious RTC at Lismaline, Ballingarry, Roscrea in Tipperary late last night Saturday 14 August at approximately 11.35pm.
A two-car collision occurred and the male drivers of both vehicles and their passengers were taken to University Hospital Limerick to be treated for their injuries which were believed to be non-life-threatening.
One young girl was removed to Temple Street Hospital in critical condition.
The road is currently closed for Garda Forensic Investigators to conduct an examination and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward.
Any road users who were travelling in the townland of Lismaline in Ballingarry last night and who may have camera footage, including dashcam, are being asked to make it available to Gardaí.
Gardaí added that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
