Tributes are pouring in for young Irish man and bricklayer Greg Cullinane following his unexpected death in Thailand this month.
Mr Cullinane was from Blackpool in Cork and passed away on Tuesday, 14 January in the Asian country.
His requiem mass will take place today (Thursday, 30 January) at 11am at the Church of the Resurrection in Farranree, followed by a funeral afterwards at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Kilcully.
Mr Cullinane's RIP.ie notice reads:
"The death has occurred of Greg Cullinane on January 14th, 2025 (unexpectedly) in Thailand.
"Beloved son of Patricia (nee Keane) and the late Sean and loving brother of Ken & Lorraine.
"Sadly missed by his loving mother, brother, sister, nieces Megan & Jodie, uncles, aunts, sister-in-law Michelle, relatives and friends."
Many have taken to the condolence section of the RIP.ie page to pay tribute to Mr Cullinane.
One person wrote: "The most wonderful fun kind loving person I have ever met. Thank you for being a great friend. RIP."
Another said: "Absolutely gutted when hearing the news. We had some great times myself and Greg down throughout the years.
"He had a smile that would light up a room. RIP bud."
A third person left the message: "Shocked and saddened to hear of Greg’s sudden passing. A gent of a guy who had such a warm personality.
"I fondly remember those morning school trips to the North Mon."
