WATCH: Powerful interview of medicine student criticising Boris Johnson’s hospital “PR stunt”

United Kingdom

An extremely passionate interview.

A student doctor who was working in a hospital that was visited by Boris Johnson has given a powerful interview in response to his visit.

Johnson visited Addenbrooke’s Hospital, to meet staff and patients, where he was greeted by a number of people who wanted to question him regarding his stance on the NHS, among a number of other things.

A video has since been widely shared of a medicine student, who wanted to confront Johnson about the ongoing climate crisis, as well as the topic of drug accessibility, a potentially massive issue following Brexit.

When she tried to confront the PM, she said that she was pushed away and told she wasn’t allowed to ask any questions.

“I was told I wasn’t allowed to ask him any questions, which I think is a really good sign this is a PR stunt.”

You can see an interview with the medicine student in question here, which was shared by the Chair of the Labour Party, who said: “This man has no shame.”

Meanwhile, Johnson shared his own video of himself at the hospital, where he claimed that a new Parliament is needed to “get Brexit done.”
