The Guardian) supporters of Scottish independence to build and win the political case for it, instead of rushing to hold a referendum.
Earlier this month, Boris Johnson rejected Sturgeon's request for the legal powers to hold a second referendum for Scottish independence, but she stated that independence was the only way for Scotland to maintain its parliamentary sovereignty and connection to the EU.
