“I wish you would interview me like you interview Joe Biden.”

Footage of Donald Trump leaving an interview early has been shared widely on social media, to the point that The White House has officially responded to it.

Trump was being interviewed by Lesley Stahl from 60 Minutes on CBS, while he repeatedly complained about the type of questions he was being asked.

The US President complained about a number of things throughout the interview, one of which was Stahl asking why the crowds at rallies do not wear masks.

He responded: “You’re so negative. These are the biggest rallies we have ever had. You just come in here with that negative attitude. You just come in here with that negative attitude.”

More clips from the interview are still being shared by 60 Minutes, some of which can be seen below:

One of the more stand out moments was when Trump was asked if he was going to be okay with “tough questions”, to which he responded “No, I’m not”.

Trump then left the interview, saying that she asked Joe Biden easier questions, to which Stahl replied that she did not interview Joe Biden.

The saga did not end there though. Since then, The White House tweeted out a video of Stahl not wearing a mask, claiming she said that she would only put one to interview the president.

The US election will take place on 3 November.
