The producers behind the movie fought back against Trump on Twitter, saying: "Understandable, he can't read."

The greatest success story of this year's Academy Awards was definitely the South Korean movie Parasite. It won best picture, as well as best director, best original screenplay and best international film, and it has received almost unanimous praise. But, unsurprisingly, Donald Trump is not a fan. At a rally in Colorado, the US President first took aim at the Oscars as a whole, before specifically moving on to Parasite. "How bad were the Academy Awards this year? The winner is a movie from South Korea, what the hell was that all about? We got enough problems with South Korea with trade and on top of it, they give them the best movie of the year." Trump doubled down on his thoughts on the movie, saying: "Was it good? I don’t know. I’m looking for, like – can we get like Gone With The Wind back, please?" Neon, the studio that produced Parasite, responded to Trump’s with a dig of its own on its Twitter page, saying: "Understandable, he can’t read." https://twitter.com/neonrated/status/1230660039028789248?s=20 Ouch.
