Our crush on Ronda keeps getting bigger and bigger…
Celebrating her recent win over Brazilian fighter Bethe Correia, UFC Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has made a generous donation to a judo training centre in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Instituto Reação is now the proud owner of the UFC championship belt which was generously donated by the Olympic bronze medalist on a recent visit with her mother Ann Maria DeMars.
Rousey defeated Brazilian fighter Bethe Correia in a blink and you’ll miss it match that ended with a knockout after 34 seconds.
Before her Correia fight, Rousey told reporters she was going to bring the belt to Brazil after her win.
Bethe did have one thing right, she said, “The Brazilian people deserve to have the belt here. So… I’m going to make sure that when I have the belt, I don’t take it home with me. I’m going to give it and make sure that it stays someplace in Brazil as my gift.”
Thats not all Rousey donated to the training school giving the facility $30,000 last February after defeating Cat Zingano
