Laurent Blanc’s first action as France manager is to suspend all 23 players featured in the France squad at the World Cup.

None of the players will be available for selection for France’s upcoming friendly with Norway on 11 August.

Blanc, who has taken over from Raymond Domenech, was incensed by the “unacceptable” behaviour of the French players during the World Cup in South Africa.

The players had refused to train during the World Cup following a row between Domenech and Anelka at half-time in France’s 2-0 loss to Uruguay.

The walkout had been organised by Man Utd defender Patrice Evra.
