The fastest man in history Usain Bolt retained his World 200m title with consummate ease at Daegu, South Korea today.

There was none of the disappointment of last week, when Bolt was disqualified from the 100m for a false start, as he eased to victory typically metres ahead of his nearest challenger, Walter Dix of the United States.

Bolt clocked a time of 19.40, the fastest in the world this year but still a little over two-tenths of a second outside the world record set when winning the title in Berlin for the first time two years ago.

Remarkably, the next three home were also under the 20-second barrier, with Dix crossing the line in 19.70, Frenchman Christophe Lemaitre setting a new personal best of 19.80 and Jaysuma Saidy Ndure of Norway clocking 19.95.
