On Saturday evening, Conor McGregor sat down for an interview with acclaimed MMA pundit Ariel Helwani in front of a crowd of thousands.
Hype follows McGregor wherever he goes, and there is near-constant discussion about what his next move will be. In the streamed interview, McGregor discussed what the future holds for The Notorious.
On the issue of fighting undefeated world heavyweight champion Floyd Mayweather, McGregor was belligerent but confident that the fight would one day take place.
McGregor: I'm 28 years of age. I'm a young pup. I'm not even in my prime yet. The Floyd situation will happen and then I'll roll back in.

McGregor says the fight with Mayweather would 100% do over 4 million PPV buys.

McGregor went so far as to say that he would not be fighting Jose Aldo nor Khabib Nurmagomedov, insisting that his next fight would be against Floyd.
However, as the discussion wore on, McGregor seemed to waver on this — suggesting that very little is set in stone. He did, however, express his desire to have the fight in 2017 or 2018.
McGregor: I have options. Floyd doesn't have other options. Maybe fuck Floyd. Maybe fuck the A side. Maybe I'll fight Manny instead.

In a business sense, McGregor announced his ambitions to promote fights under the newly-formed McGregor Promotions. In a more tantalising detail, McGregor said that a fight a Croke Park could still go down under the banner of McGregor Promotions.
