Au revoir Simon?

Toulouse are said to be interested.

Simon Zebo has become the latest Irish international to be linked with a move to the Top 14 in France.

Rumours linking the Munster and Ireland winger and full-back with a move to Toulouse surfaced on Twitter today after the tweet below from well-known rugby journalist Gavin Mortimer, who writes for Rugby World amongst other publications.

Mortimer stated that the Zebo to Toulouse link came from the same source who had previously told him about Louis Picamoles moving to the English Premiership; Northampton Saints confirmed the signing of the French back-row forward earlier today.

Earlier this year, Zebo had said that a move to France is something he would consider at some stage and that negotiations over his contract were due to take place after the World Cup, so whether he ends up following a path tread previously by Jonathan Sexton and his former Munster colleague Paul O’Connell remains to be seen.

Speaking to JOE earlier, a representative from Munster Rugby said that they do not comment on speculation regarding players in their squad.
