He showed what he can do in the ring at the weekend and UFC head honcho Dana White now wants to see what Tyson Fury can do in the Octagon.
You may remember a few months back heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury had a pop or two at UFC heavyweight champ Cain Velasquez. Now, after Fury’s KO win at the weekend in New York, UFC supremo Dana White has had a pop back.
“Come on over,” White said at a fan Q&A session according to MMAjunkie. “We’ll make a deal.”
But just because he is offering Fury a shot doesn’t mean White thinks the 21-0 boxer would win.
“You want to fight Cain? Come on over here,” White added. “You will get smashed.”
With both men fond of a bit of trash talking and publicity, this one could run and run, which will please both men no end we imagine.
