David De Gea sent football fans into convulsions with the save of the season
He's become the world's first verified superhero.
If you somehow managed to miss what was one tense Manchester derby, then you've a lot to catch up on.
After conceding two goals to Man City during the first half, United went into overdrive, beginning their comeback as Paul Pogba slotted home two in the space of three minutes, followed by a third from Chris Smalling 14 minutes later.
However, while Pogba may have been the one to momentarily put City's league title on hold, it was David De Gea who stole the show for United with a stellar save from point-blank range in the final moments of the match.
In short, social media burst into flames of sheer awe.

14 - David de Gea has conceded 23 league goals this season (excl. OGs), but based on Opta xG data for the shots on target he's faced, the average goalkeeper would've been expected to concede 37 goals. This is the biggest differential by a PL goalkeeper in 2017-18.
