One body has been found on the plane.
One occupant of the plane carrying Cardiff City footballer Emiliano Sala and pilot David Ibbotson has been seen in the underwater wreckage.
The plane carrying the two men was found on Sunday, after over £324,000 was raised online to fund a new private search.
It has now been reported that there is “one occupant visible” among the plane’s wreckage, although the identity of the person has not yet been confirmed.
According to BBC, the Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB) confirmed the sighting on Monday morning.
Cardiff City won 2-0 against Bouremouth on Saturday evening, and goalscorer Bobby Reid held up a jersey with Sala’s face on it after scoring the first goal of the game.
Fans also sung tribute songs about Sala for the final 10 minutes of the game.
