The campaign to get Michelle Mulherin tickets for the replay starts here.
Forget Mayo potentially losing another All-Ireland, the real travesty surrounding this final was played out before a ball was kicked.
It involved Fine Gael Senator Michelle Mulherin criminally not being given a pair of tickets for the game despite her reminding those featherheads in the GAA that she was very much entitled to them.
But surely the greatest gift the draw in today’s final has given us is that we, as a nation, now have a chance to right this unspeakable wrong and ensure the senator, who hasn’t had time to attend a Mayo game this year, gets herself two tickets (at least) for the replay.
There won’t be much interest in the game so it should be a doddle.
And there’s plenty of people on Twitter who are thinking about her this evening and ready to pitch in:
The #DUBvMAYO final replay is being played on the Saturday because Michelle Mulherin is not available on the Sunday.

My greatest fear about this rematch is that Michelle Mulherin may face discrimination a second time 😔 #DUBvMAYO
