Brian O’Driscoll has done serious damage against most teams, but France have feared him more than most over the years… and with good reason too.

O’Driscoll will always be remembered for the famous hat-trick in the Stade de France on Paddy’s weekend in 2000, an achievement that propelled him to national prominence and marked him out as a bona fide superstar, a tag he has more than lived up to since.

Although the results haven’t always gone Ireland’s way, O’Driscoll has had some huge moments against Les Bleus over the years, with crucial tries in the victory at Lansdowne Road in 2001, two tries in the clash between the sides at the World Cup in 2003 and, of course, a vital touchdown in the win at Croke Park at 2009, the year in which BOD inspired Ireland to their first Grand Slam in over 50 years.

Ahead of his final international and final game against France this Saturday, we’ve compiled some of the best pictures of O’Driscoll in action against them over the years and we sincerely hope that we can add to it with pictures of a smiling and celebrating BOD after events in the Stade de France this weekend.
