Viewers couldn't get enough of Graeme Souness going to town on Man Utd's performance against Sevilla
His reaction is still ringing in people's ears today.
Following on from Manchester United losing 2-1 to Sevilla at Old Trafford, and thereby crashing painfully out of the Champions League, one of the major talking points is Graeme Souness' very pointed reaction to the loss.
This is on top of Jose Mourinho’s post-match press conference, which you can watch here, and will totally not endear him to Manchester United fans.
Following the full-time whistle, Souness was asked "Where did it go wrong for them?", and he did not hold back on his thoughts...
Where did it go wrong for Man Utd? Here's Graeme's take.

"Uhm... well, they never started, did they? You think Man Utd, coming into this game, they should have been firmly up, after the results they've had in recent weeks in the Premiere League. Coming back from being 2-0 down to Palace, you would think that this would have been tailor made for them tonight. They never played at a tempo which was enough to cause this average Sevilla team a problem. Never did until the last... until Sevilla scored, basically."
Yep, Souness had opinions.
And viewers reacted to those opinions:
I’m sitting 27km across town from Graeme Souness, my front door is locked, the alarm is on and still I’m bricking it scared of him. @TommyMartinTV3 is a braver man than me.

Think Souness is right re Mourinho - play that style and you *have* to win to get away with it. United second in table after run of 3 good PL wins, yet it feels like a crisis going out of Champions League playing like that.

@TV3SportIreland again Souness and Lennon hit the nail on the head. Players are not buying into it.

Leicester have been promoted to the premier league, won it AND won a Champions league knockout match... against Seville 😉

Some people really wanted to agree with him, but then remind themselves that everyone makes mistakes...
Sometimes I think Souness has a point in his analysis. Then I remember he signed Jean-Alain Boumsong #nufc
